Advocacy & Systemic Reforms
Advocacy is the process of actively supporting, speaking up for, and defending the rights of marginalized, vulnerable, or oppressed individuals and communities.
Systemic reform means fundamentally altering the laws, policies, institutions, and cultural practices that create inequality, discrimination, or hardship. Instead of placing the blame on individuals, it recognizes that the “system” (e.g., healthcare, education, criminal justice, child welfare) is fundamentally flawed and needs a structural overhaul.
